David Kangas

David Kangas is a licensed General Securities Representative (FINRA series 7 and 63) for Horizon 1031 and for more than the past ten years has offered Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) properties and other investment offerings through WealthForge Securities LLC (member FINRA, SIPC).

Prior to entering the securities industry, David spent more than fifteen years managing non-profit organizations, specializing in asset management (commercial and residential), operations, property management, national and international affiliate relations, project management, and budgeting. In addition, he spent several years working with building management systems, specifically as they related to critical environments, such as research laboratories, surgical suites, and clean rooms.

David is a co-author of Modern Real Estate Investing, the Delaware Statutory Trust. In addition to his extensive experience with syndicated real estate and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, David brings to Horizon 1031 his passion for working with people and providing them with the best in client service. He has a passion for flying and graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science and Business Administration. He holds a commercial pilot license and certified flight instructor certificates (CFII, MEI).
