Michael Hunter is a licensed general securities representative (FINRA series 7 and 63) for Horizon 1031 and offers Delaware statutory trust properties as well as opportunity zone funds, real estate investment trusts, and real estate funds through WealthForge Securities, LLC (member FINRA, SIPC).

Michael’s professional history includes tenures at American International Group (AIG) and Cetera Financial Group where he held a range of responsibilities in the area of strategic communication, with a specialty in organizational change. He later brought his project management capabilities to real estate development with a focus in pre-development, including such functions as due diligence and site evaluation, market and feasibility study, site and building planning, and entitlements.

At Horizon 1031, Michael combines his professional background in the financial services and real estate industries with his personal commitment to service, finding fulfillment in counseling clients to successful real estate investments. He values each client relationship and is committed to helping them achieve their specific investment objectives.

In his free time, Michael can be found with his wife and young children enjoying the best of southern California, especially its beautiful beaches and diverse cuisine, or gathered with his faith community. Michael finds creative outlets in music, playing both the guitar and piano, and will jump at any opportunity to do something active, particularly a game of pickup basketball.
