Peter Roberts is chief operating officer and an investment consultant at Horizon 1031. He is a licensed general securities representative (FINRA series 7 and 63) offering tax-advantaged, securitized real estate investments through WealthForge Securities LLC (member FINRA, SIPC). Since 2018 he has specialized in Delaware statutory trusts as like-kind replacement properties for 1031 exchange and brokers a variety of other securitized real estate-based alternative investments.

Peter brings to Horizon 1031 skills in research, data analysis, and communication, reviewing each new offering and tracking industry-wide and sponsor-specific developments. He is passionate about educating investors on details of an offering and works closely with them to identify the strategies and investment opportunities best aligned with their financial objectives.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in 2001 from the University of Texas at Austin, Peter worked for fifteen years as an editor and writer while also earning a Master of Arts in History in 2010 from California State University, Fullerton and teaching secondary school part-time. He is fluent in Spanish and in his free time enjoys time with family, tennis, guitar, cooking, traveling, and gardening.
